How Blind Can I Be

A thousand generations is a powerful expression of continuity – the truth that after us will come another generation, and after them yet another, and so on. We were not the first to be here; before us lived generations whose examples and mistakes we can learn from.
That is why it is meaningful to live by strong and unchanging values – values the next generation can gladly regard as worthy and perhaps choose to follow. The example we set can carry on far into the future.
We are the living book that our children and the generations to come will read.
